WORKSHOPS JULY TO DECEMBER 2018

At The Yoga Room we are always excited to offer workshops to our students to increase their knowledge of yoga so that it eventually becomes part of their daily life.  We are interested in seeing our students lead a healthy life full of love, abundance and peace, and to be the best version of themselves.  The following workshops are planned for the second half of the year to support our students along this path.

Sunday 9 September 4-6pm         Sound Bath Meditation with White Raven Healing

Friday 28-Sunday 30 September   Weekend Workshop with Alan Goode

Saturday 10 Nov 10am-1.00pm     Yoga to ease through the change:  perimenopause, menopause and post menopause.

Saturday 10 Nov 1.15pm-1.45pm   Talk on hormonal health by Dr Josephine Braid, Integrative GP.

Sat 10 Nov 2.00pm-5.00pm           Womens Series Workshops (Yoga for a Woman's Cycle) with Tricia.

These workshops are practical and informative.  Participants receive a set of notes and sequences to practice.  Book at Yoga Room.

Workshops for 2019

Workshops are a great way to increase your knowledge of the practice of yoga and to take time out to immerse yourself into your practice more deeply.  A longer format often allows us time to experience and see things about yoga and ourselves, that we can't access in a class format.  Please consider coming to any of the following.

What's on this Week

Term 2 started this week

If you haven't enrolled or couldn't get to class this week, don't stress.  Start next week.  We allow students to 'make up' three missed classes during the current term.  Attend a class of the same level, if possible.

Sunday 5 May - 9.30-11.00am - Relax and Restore Class

This class on the first and third Sunday of each month will focus on restorative yoga, pranayama and relaxation.  Casual attendance $23.  All levels welcome.

2.00-4.00pm Essential Oils Workshop - Emotional Health

The workshop on Sunday is around oils for emotional health.  Come along and learn which oil is useful for emotions such as forgiveness, courage and procrastination.  A small charge will be made if you choose to participate in the practical session using the Feelings Kit which encourages the process of letting go of old patterns and emotions, forgiving those who have hurt you and going forward.  Everyone welcome.  If you have any questions, bring them along. 

New Class: Yoga to Restore and Renew, Pramayama and Meditation

1st and 3rd Sunday of each month 9.30-11.00am

I am excited to add a new class to the timetable.  On the first and third Sundays of each month I will teach a class centered around yoga to restore and renew, learning to sit quietly and pranayama.  We will explore these themes over the 5 weeks of term and you are welcome to attend casually ($23) or pay for the 5 weeks at the beginning of term ($100).  Please note that due to the number of classes each term, students are unable to make up a missed Sunday Class.  

We start on Sunday 5 May and everyone is welcome.

10 Week Introductory Course commences 2 May 7.00-8.15pm

As yoga practitioners we know the benefits of coming to a yoga class each week.  No matter what age we are, how our body is working or what is going on in our busy lives, yoga allows us the time to come into the present and recalibrate.  We are overloaded with information and yoga is one way of taking time for ourselves.  

The ideal way to start Yoga is with the Intro Course.  If you know anyone who might benefit from this course, please direct them to our website.  I am happy to have a chat to anyone interested.

Open Casual Class Wed 24 April 9.30am

All students are welcome to attend the casual class tomorrow at 9.30am.  Suitable for all levels, this is the last general class for the Easter break.

Term 2 commences Monday 29 April.  Enrolment is open on the website www.orangeyogaroom.com.au or pay in class in week 1.

We look forward to seeing all our students back on the mat next Monday after a relaxing Easter break.  

Holiday Classes and Term 2 Classes

This week is the last week of Term 1 followed by the Easter Holidays.  During the holidays we will have one casual class per week, which will be open to all students of all levels, as well as YOGART: Yoga and Art for Children and Young Adults.  Children and adults of all ages love this workshop and bookings can be made on line or by contacting me.

Wednesday 17 April - Yogart with Tricia, Fiona, Sharon, Abigail and Alice

Wednesday 24 April 9.30am - Casual Class with Sharon.

Thursday 2 May - 10 Week Introductory Course starts.
