Spring Workshops

Hello again yoga friends,

With bursts of sunshine and flowers appearing everywhere it feels more like Spring to me.  To get us moving and kickoff the winter blues I have organised two wonderful events with visiting teachers.  Read on to find out the details.

Sound Bath with Paulien Gort - Sunday 9 October 4.00-6.00pm

Paulien is a regular visitor to the studio and she brings her divine healing sounds and high vibrational instruments.  Paulien is an experienced sound healer and her Sound Baths are not to be missed.  If you have never attended a Sound Bath it is a truly relaxing experience that promotes the release of calming hormones, supports the immune system and promotes sleep quality.

Pay cash at the studio and place your name on the list when paid.

Spring Intensive

After a long Winter, Spring is finally around the corner. It’s a great time
to freshen up your mindset and reinvigorate your Yoga Practice.  The format of an Intensive is traditionally early morning and evening practice.  It is an opportunity to come together on the mat in a format  that supports a deeper understanding of the subject of Yoga.  We the luxury of more concentrated time slots over a period of days to learn, study and practice together.

Join me to explore the subject of Yoga in more depth and to take
some time out to be present, to let go of the busy brain and cultivate
stillness. The Intensive is open to all students with 3 months
experience of Yoga.

Dates:

Friday 16 September – 5.45-7.15 pm

Saturday 17 September – 7.30-9.30 am and 4.00-5.30 pm

Sunday 18 September – 8.30-10.30am.

Cost:

4 sessions - $100

3 sessions - $80

2 sessions - $58.

Please contact Tricia with any questions.  I am very much looking forward to teaching the Intensive and passing on any knowledge that may be helpful to you to progress your yoga journey.

The Five Koshas

In the last blog I gave a short description of each of the five koshas.  In this blog I have included a link to a YouTube tutorial explaining the concepts of the koshers and their relationship to each other.  I hope this tutorial contributes to your understanding of the Koshas and helps to give you some context for your yoga practice.  By understanding the Koshas you can apply your understanding to your practice.  In this way you create a living philosophy that you practice on the mat, and eventually in your daily life.

Se you on the mat!

Tricia
